Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by DK Turf & Paving (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By engaging with DK Turf & Paving, you (“the client”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Scope of Services

DK Turf & Paving provides a wide range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Artificial grass supply and installation
  • Paving and decking
  • Outdoor construction (boundary walls, fireplaces, pools, garages)
  • Interior renovations (cabinetry, tiling, kitchens, etc.)
  • Steel fabrication and bespoke designs
  • Maintenance services via our sister company, Grass Fairy

Any specific scope, materials, and timeline will be outlined in the project quotation or written agreement.

 

Quotations and Payments

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • A deposit (typically 50%) is required to confirm bookings and initiate work. The balance is payable upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments must be made via EFT or any method agreed upon in advance. Late payments may incur interest charges as per prevailing legal limits.

 

Changes and Cancellations

  • Any changes to the agreed scope must be requested in writing and may be subject to revised costs and timelines.
  • Cancellations after confirmation may result in forfeiture of the deposit and recovery of costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or delay a project due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, supplier delays, force majeure).

 

Project Timelines

  • Project timelines are estimations and may be subject to delays due to weather, supplier availability, or site access limitations.

Workmanship and Warranty

  • We take pride in delivering superior craftsmanship and use quality materials from trusted suppliers.
  • A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to most completed installations unless otherwise specified.
  • Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, external forces, or lack of proper maintenance.

 

Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for providing accurate site access, information, and approvals where necessary.
  • It is your duty to inform us of any underground utilities, hazards, or site limitations before work begins.
  • The client agrees to provide a safe working environment for our team.

 

Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, and images provided by DK Turf & Paving remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or used without our written consent.

 

Liability

  • While every precaution is taken to ensure quality and safety, DK Turf & Paving will not be held liable for damages or losses outside of our direct control.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the contract or the affected portion of the project.

 

Use of Subcontractors

In order to meet project demands, DK Turf & Paving may engage qualified subcontractors or affiliated teams (e.g. Grass Fairy) to carry out specialized aspects of the work. All subcontractors will adhere to the same standards of quality and conduct.

 

Marketing and Media

With client consent, DK Turf & Paving may take photos or videos of completed work for marketing purposes, including social media, our website, and printed materials.

 

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation. If unresolved, the matter will be escalated to mediation or legal arbitration under South African law.
